Easy Virtue is about a gold-digger and the story why she turned into a total bitch.

It’s about longing, fear, pretending, love and lust.

Blaire White, despite wanting to hate her for being a total bitch, you just can’t help but feel sorry for her.

She grew up longing for attention and nurturing from her parents. As a child, she was bullied by her schoolmates for being the chubby little girl. Also, the whole town knew that her mother was sleeping with married men, and because of that, her father became an alcoholic.

"I discovered that love wasn't everything that mattered in life.
It was an emotion that not many had the luxury of feeling
without any pain attached to it." - Blaire

As a teenage girl, she realized that her beauty is a big advantage and can be used as a tool. She could easily attract wealthy, men who were willing to shower her with money and expensive gifts in exchange of sex. She was a “gold digger” and she was proud of it. When she finally turned 18, she decided to move to New York City where she dated even more wealthy men. They paid for her apartment, designer clothes, shoes and accessories; they became her way of surviving.

Everything was running smoothly for her until one night, she met two different men that can make her second-guess the life she’s been living.

Lawrence Rothschild, the dream of every gold-digging bitch. He is filthy rich, single, and devastatingly handsome. He is so into Blaire that he is more than willing to give anything and everything for her. He acts nonchalant about his situation with Blaire, but it’s obvious how much he deeply cares for her.

“We speak the same language. You and me…
we’re both cut from the same cloth.
We see something we want and we take it.
We don’t let emotions get the best of us." - Lawrence

And Ronan, the sweet, Gap-model-with-a-tinge-of-rockstar looking guy who makes her feel things she shut off a long time ago. He remembers every little detail that Blaire tells him. He can make her open-up and talk about her past. With him, Blaire experiences both hope and fear. He makes her feel loved and happy when they’re together.

“Because when I look at you,
I see everything I want and everything I need.”
- Ronan
"But Ronan makes me want to let my hair down
and dance naked in the rain.
He makes me want to put Taylor Swift on
and sing at the top of my lungs
about how everything has changed
because of a man with freckles
and what I see in his eyes."
- Blaire

Mia Asher knows how to make her readers long and fear for Blaire’s story.

Will Blaire choose love?

Or will she continue living a life full of lust, and continue pretending that she’s okay with offering her body in exchange of a luxurious life?

“Love is selfish.
Love is unkind.
Love hurts.”
– Blaire
